Story Vessel Project

This is my story vessel. I chose to do Rapunzel because the shape of my sculpture looks like a tower. It is 12 inches (1 foot) tall and has designs like the brick design.

I also added small details like moss and roses in between the bricks. I added small lines

to the wood and hair to add texture.

Coil Pot

My coil pot was a 12 inch tall pot. It has many stripes, designs, and markings. It has many different types of colors. It has bright colors and pastel colors.

Alebrije Painting

My alebrije is a dog. The sculpture was destroyed in the kiln, but I made a painting to

 makeup for it.  I gave it many small designs to give it texture and a unique look.

Pie sculpture

This is a pie sculpture. I used the coil method and it is functional. 

You can open the top and use it as storage.

Slab Box

This is a box with brick designs. I used the slab method and we rolled a design over it.

Then I added a handle to the lid and painted a black square to make it look like a door.

 
 
 
 
These are animal mugs. They're endangered animals. It is the sea turtle, elephant,
and brown bear. I used the slab method to make these mugs.

Pinch Pot

"Let the music take you away"

This is my six- word sgraffito pinch pot. It is light blue and my memoir is "Let the music take you away". I carved grass and a tree on the outside of the pot and in the inside, I carved out a bee.
